Petition to the Duke of Newcastle and others from William Wills, John Allan, and Hugh Ross, crown witnesses in the custody of the messenger William Ward, requesting that he be ordered to pay them 'board wages'. They also request payment for the poor widow of a peruke-maker, who supplied them with wigs, as they could not appear in court 'with Night Caps'
