Relates the organisation of the rebellion [Jacobite] in the British Isles, the Mediterranean Sea, and Jamaica. Describes how the British coasts and villages are full of soldiers. Dated Chelsea [Middlesex, London].
Folios 44-49. Copy:?Billot. Detailed account during the rebellions. Mentions the King and his government; Expenses and debts in the kingdom; Admirals' Hawk and Moisten; State of the army and navy; Death of Sir William Watkins Winn; Duke of Newcastle; Duke of Marlborough; poor health of the Duke of Cumberland.
Folios 50-53. From [?unknown]. Reports the current situation in England: Rising taxes; Forced enlistment; The hunt for Catholics; King George's fears; Poor health of Duke of Cumberland; William Watkins Wynn's death; Browne, son of Lord Montagu is ready to lead the Catholics.
Folio 54. A note mentioning Admiral Byng, who is organizing the fleet in Portsmouth and Plymouth with the rest of the fleet bound for the ocean and the Indies.
