Description

Folio 16. Jn [John] Burgh and [Mr] Daniel, Customs Officers at Whitby, to [Customs Commissioners] concerning the arrival from Havre de Grace, France [Le Havre], of Miss Long of Ireland, who claims she was 'taken' by a French privateer. Miss Long is in possession of letters which the custom officers have confiscated for further examination. Dated at Custom House, Whitby [Yorkshire].
