Description

Folios 106-108. Information of Judith James, describing her purchase of two pamphlets from Mrs Nutt's bookshop in the Royal Exchange [London], one entitled The Thistle, a pamphlet examining the general prejudice of Englishmen to Scotland, and the second The Genuine Memoirs of John Murray Esquire. Mentions Nutt's daughters, including 'a pretty lusty woman, very much pitted with the smallpox'. Taken before Thomas Waite. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
