Folio 104. Copy of declaration by Aulay McAulay of Auchindrean [Ross-shire], Murdoch McIvar [McIver] of Leckmelin [Sutherland], and Kenneth MacKenzie of Langwell [near Coigach, Ross-shire], who declare that [rather than pressing people to join the Jacobite rebellion], Cromartie had ordered them to return home. Mentions a meeting in Strathpeffer [Ross-shire]; Alexander McKenzie of Corry [Skye, Inverness-shire] selling cattle; Thomas Henderson, gardener at Castle Leod [Ross-shire]; and Alexander McKenzie of Ardloch's request for quarters for his men.
