Folios 90-91. Major John Wilson, in General Barrel's regiment, [to unknown], concerning the forthcoming despatch of French [Jacobite] prisoners to Calais, France, with Brigadier Price. Raises the cases of two pilots [Bligh and Lesly, Lesley, Leslie], and of Mr Hay and other officer in the Spanish service, who may not come under the terms of the Cartel [of Frankfurt, on the exchange of prisoners-of-war]. Mentions prisoners' refusal to cooperate with Mr Lazpent who is processing pardons for them. Dated at Berwick [upon Tweed, Northumberland, Berwickshire].
