Judges' certificate for the Midland Circuit recommending mercy for prisoners: John Johnson and William Flowers, convicted at Warwick [Warwickshire] Assizes, horse stealing; Thomas Nicholls convicted at Warwick for being in Britain when sentenced to transportation; Margaret Wilson, convicted at Lincoln [Lincolnshire], pick-pocketing; William Priest, Leicester [Leicestershire], Ralph Kinder Derby [Derbyshire], and William Dawson, Lincoln, all sheep stealing. Judges Thos [Thomas] Birch, and J?Willes.
