Folio 55. Sir Everard Fawkener to Duke of Newcastle concerning who had handed in 'Sullivan's papers' [dealing with Jacobite matters]. Mentions the Exeter man-o-war. Dated at Cleveland Row [Middlesex]. Enclosure:
1. Folios 56-58. Extract of a letter from Mr Mason to Fawkener, regarding 'the Young Pretender's' [Charles Edward Stuart's] papers, which were give [to the Duke of Cumberland] by Lord Albemarle. He'd be given them by a clergyman, Mr MacBean, in Inverness [Inverness-shire], 'who found them buried in a dunghill'
