Folios 69-70. Draft of letter [from Duke of Newcastle] to Brigadier Price at Berwick [upon Tweed, Northumberland, Berwickshire] and Lieutenant General Jones at Hull [Yorkshire], with name of Brigadier Fleming at Carlisle [Cumberland] deleted, directing that French prisoners-of-war should be sent back to France [after the Jacobite Rebellion]. Captain des Cosne [Ruvigny de Cosne] will receive them in Calais. Any British-born, non-Roman Catholics choosing to remain in Britain may do so.
