Description

Folio 40. Memorandum in favour of Mr Moore, aged 18-years, ensign in Drummonds Regiment in the French Service, captured at Culloden [after Jacobite Rebellion] and now a prisoner in irons in New Gaol, Southwark, [Surrey], seeking his removal to the Marshalsea [prison, Southwark, Surrey] as a French prisoner-of-war.
