Folios 89-90. 'A lover of liberty' to Sir Everard Fawkener, enclosing a letter to the Duke of Cumberland [and a memorial], endorsed 'these three papers to be given to Colonel Napier'. Enclosure:
1. Folio 91. 'A lover of liberty' to the Duke of Cumberland, in reference to a note delivered by Colonel Napier at Inverness [Inverness-shire] of which the writer claims authorship, enclosing a memorial [not filed here], and stating that Jacobitism and Rebellion can only be quashed by abolishing 'all servile obedience upon chiefs and land-lords and absolutely discharging traffickers for Popery in all shapes'
