Folios 31-35. Examination of Richard Morrison, a barber and wig-maker who, at the behest of Colonel Strickland, served the 'Pretender's son' [Charles Edward Stuart] as valet de chamber from the time the [Jacobites] left Edinburgh until the Battle of Culloden. Denied knowing the identity of a visitor from England to the quarters of 'the Young Pretender' at Bannockburn [Stirlingshire] during the Siege of Stirling Castle, and was questioned about the Earl of Traquair, Sir John Douglass, [?John] Murray [of Broughton], Lord Lovat and Doctor Barry. Also mentioned Sir Thomas Sheridan, 'the people of Manchester', and Morgan.
