Folios 102. Captain Stratford Eyre to Thomas Ramsden, confirming a parole for Captain Bourke. Eyre also refers to plans for prisoners at Tilbury [Fort, Essex] to be dismissed, urging that he be allowed to do so, noting the advanced age of some. Finally, Eyre lobbies [to command] a troop of Horse with General Wentworth's regiment in Ireland, and hopes [Andrew] Stone has him in mind for this commission. Dated at St James Place, London, [Middlesex].
