Folio 60. Lieutenant General [Adam] Williamson [Governor of the Tower] to [John] Sharpe with an enclosure [not filed here] from Brigadier [General John] Price, commander of Berwick [upon Tweed, Northumberland, Berwickshire], relating Price's request to the Duke of Newcastle that he issue him orders concerning the disposal of the 'lowlife fellows' being held prisoner there. Williamson says: 'we have not seen the barber's linen but hope the four honest men who were here, will be sufficient to prove what you [Sharpe] want'. Dated at the Tower [of London, London, Middlesex].
