Folios 29-30. Bishop of Meath [Henry Maule] to [James] Payzant, thanking him for sending an account of the survival of Major Petitots after the Battle [of Rocoux?] in Flanders. Congratulates Payzant on his promotion to Lord Chesterfield's office, and mentions Ireland's charter schools, duties on hawkers and pedlars, and the Dublin Society for the Improvements of Arts and Science manufactures. Seal damaged on opening. Dated at Ardbracken near Navan, Meath, Ireland.
