Folios 24-27. Examination of Andrew Cockburn, lodging house keeper, of Johnson's Court, near Charing Cross [London, Middlesex], and formerly, for 32 years, keeper of a hosiery shop near the?Muese Wall [Mews Wall, Charring Cross?]. Cockburn denied that he did business for Doctor Barry, or carried his letters to [John] Murray [of Broughton], who he knew to be secretary to 'the pretender's son' [Charles Edward Stuart]. He denied knowing Mr Drummond, alias McGregor. Stated that his present lodgers are Mr Wood, 'a travelling governor' and Mr Wilson, a Scot. Examined by Andrew Stone. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
