Folios 71-72.?S [Stephen Charles Triboudet?] Demainbray to Mr King [?Erasmus King] in his Experimental Room for Natural Philosophy, Duke's Court, near the Mews Gate, London, requesting him to communicate the 'novelties' of electicity, 'the modish topic of all Europe', and the necessary apparatus to conduct the experiments. States that he has tried the various experiments described in Hawkesbee's [Francis Hauksbee's] lecture and Doctor [John Theophilus] Desagulier's pamphlet. Reminds of a series of lectures he delivered at Fletcher's Coffee Shop, Bow Street [London, Middlesex], which were organised by an auctioneer Mr Ford and Demainbray. Gives his return address as Mr Demainbray at his school in Bishop's Lane, Edinburgh. Dated at Edinburgh.
