[King's evidence] Roger McDonald to Thomas Ramsden requesting removal from the custody of Mr Lucas in favour of Mr Carrington, on account of insults heaped upon him, now that money is short, by the former messenger who keeps a public house. He promises to identify active [Jacobites], mentioning John Watherburn son of Sir John Watherburn [Wedderburn], a prisoner in New Gaol [Southwark, Surrey], William Baines, general quartermaster to the rebels, William Henderson, a volunteer in Strathallan's horse. Writes after consulting [John] Sharpe. Dated at Dover Street, London [Middlesex].
