Folio 112. J [Treasury Secretary John?] Scrope to Lord Cornwallis, constable of the Tower of London [London, Middlesex], suggesting prisoners 'who appear to be of low rank' be imprisoned elsewhere more cheaply. Dated at Treasury Chambers [London, Middlesex].
SP 36/83/3/1. List of prisoners in the Tower who receive the government allowance: Captain James Seaton in Roth's [regiment]; Captain Robert Grace in Lally's [regiment]; Captain Martaugh McGennes, in Dillon's; Lieutenant Edmund Dunn, in Roth's; Lieutenant John Reilley, in Buckley's; Clement McDerment and James Vogler, ecuyer and valet de chamber to Mr Radcliffe; Walter Maddocks, a deserter from 'one of our regiments in Flanders'
