Folios 106-107. Voluntary information of James Dowdall regarding £4,000 sent from Rome for 'the Popish Cause' to Catholic Bishops in the Highlands named MacDaniel and Gordon. It was sent via bankers in Paris, including Quane [or Zuane], and via 'one Roy', now in the custody of Mr Ward the messenger, and then via Roger Hog [Hogg] 'a Scotch man living in the city' [of London?]. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
