Folio 24. Colonel J Pelham to [unknown], conveying Princess Amelia's wish that [John Barry, under sentence of death in Newgate prison, Bristol, Gloucestershire] be transported. Dated at St James's [London, Middlesex]. Enclosing:

Folio 25. The petitions of Barry to Princess Caroline.

Folio 26. A further petition of Barry to Princess Caroline, mentioning the role of [Peter] Haynes.

Folio 27. Petition of the citizens of Bristol in support of Barry, signed by: Rich [Richard] Tucker, Player Clark, Rich [Richard] Robinson, John Harding, Wm [William] Watts, Wm [William] Love, Thos [Thomas] Spackman, Richard Smith, Wm [William] Fry, Joseph Jones, Nathan [Nathaniel] Hall, Lewis Cannon, and Thos [Thomas] Wheeler.
