Folio 72. Wm [William] Wood to [Andrew] Stone concerning a smuggling vessel captured by customs officers of Harwich [Essex]. Dated at Custom House [London]. Enclosing:
Folios 73-74. G Davies and Fra [Francis?] Pulham to the Commissioners of Customs in London describing the detention, by Captain Dagnet, of a cutter formerly called the Baltimore, that had landed on the Suffolk coast, and naming the crew as Thomas Harvey of Folkestone [Kent] master, John Price of Flushing [Vlissingen, Netherlands], Medford Coe of Ipswich [Suffolk], Isaac Adrian, James Foggan, John Wells of Folkeston or Dover [Kent], John Roberts of Flushing, Isaac Turner of Ipswich, John Pay of Flushing, Ben [Benjamin] Sladden, Francis Chalk of Folkestone or Dover, Roger Harvey, Robert Osborn, Stephen Johnson of Flushing, Thos [Thomas] Harvey Junior of Folkestone, and Henry May. Also provides a copy of a pass in French, dated at Dunkirk [France] the 26 March 1744, signed by Givery, naval commissioner for Flanders and Picardy [France], for two English merchants, Robert Fuller and Thomas Harvey, of Boulogne. Dated at Customs House, Harwich.
