Folios 49-50. William Cookson to General Pulteney. Major?Helburne suggests quartering sick soldiers in the garrison. No more room for prisoners in Hull [Yorkshire]. Duke of Cumberland wrote to General Jones concerning poor treatment of French prisoners of war; Cookson concerned that they will mutiny, suggests sending them to Beverley [Yorkshire] upon their parole. Dated at Hull [Yorkshire].
