Folios 44-46. Petition of Samuel Harwood, labourer of Ely [Cambridgeshire] and retainer of Ely Cathedral. He is nearly blind despite treatment at St Thomas's Hospital in London, and requests a beadsman or almsman's place at the cathedral. Petition supported by Peter Allix, dean, and Thomas Jones, prebendary. With note from Newcastle, stating that the King grants the request. Dated at Whitehall [Middlesex].
