Folios 94-97. Draft. Newcastle to Field Marshal Wade. Details of forces sent to Edinburgh with Major General Huske, Brigadier Cholmondeley and Lieutenant General Hawley. [Duke of Cumberland] will garrison troops at Newcastle [Northumberland], Berwick [Northumberland], and Carlisle [Cumberland]; remaining regiments will be sent to Scotland. Mr Hume, Commissary General, will handle supply contracts. Lieutenant General Wentworth remaining at Newcastle until Dutch troops return to Holland. Enclosing copies of correspondence between Earl of Dunmore and Lord Harrington (not enclosed), containing orders for Hessian Troops. King consents to Wade's return to London. [Carried] 'by Haite' [messenger]. Dated at Whitehall [Middlesex].
