Folio 93. Lord Edgcumbe to [Newcastle]. Enclosing copy of proposal for 'a Correspondence' from Guernsey, made to Lord Edgcumbe [not enclosed]. Sent man who made proposal to Commissioner Vanbrugh, who will inform Lords of the Admiralty of the details. Commission will be sent to William Johns. Edgcumbe setting off to attend Quarter Sessions. Dated at Mount Edgcumbe [Cornwall], 4 January 1747 [dated incorrectly, should be 4 January 1746].
