1. Folio 19. Printed copy of letter from messenger. Confirms rebel [Jacobite] surrender. King's Guards will take possession of castle and citadel tomorrow. Messenger will bring account of their numbers to York. Town mayor in custody. Dated 'Near Blakel' [Blackwell, Cumberland], 30 December 1745.
