Folios 119-120. [Unknown] to Mr Basing at Randal's Coffee House, London. Mr Blois has been delayed by 'contrary winds', but hopes to meet with Basing soon. Must speak to Mr Croft and Mr Cadogan to clear up 'Some uneasiness'. With directions to seal and deliver enclosed letter. Dated at 'Griffith' [?Mr Griffith's house]. With note on reverse in a different hand, confirming delivery to Mr Waite at Newcastle's office, by John Lewis. Enclosures:
1. Folios 121-122. [Unknown] to Mr Ball. Partially in cipher. No letters received in last five posts. Will visit Mr Cadogan or Mr Crofts in the next few days, and meet Mr Rivers or Mr Ratcliff. Anxious to hear from Ball before meeting. No news about Mr Booth or Mr Anderton. Mentions Mr Red, Mr Talon, Mr Ratcliff, 'other partners', and Mr Busby. Dated at 'Griffith'.
2. Folio 123. Copy. [Unknown] to Mr Ball. [Contents as in folios 121-122].
