Folios 71-72. Dudley Bradstreet to Andrew Stone. Rebels [Jacobites] intend to send 20 or 30 men, mostly 'papists', to Connaught in Ireland. One Gordon, who was in King George's army in Ireland, will lead them. If rebels got near London, 'their friends in London' would raise reports of French army landing near city, to 'occasion tumults'. Rebel colours mainly shrubs tied to poles; imitating Romulus, first Roman king. Believes he can still be of service to government; Asking for directions to stay, or go elsewhere. Requests meeting with Stone. Seal.
