Description

Folio 62. Archibald Stewart to [Newcastle]. Wrote to Marquis of Tweeddale for permission to send directions, by letter or clerk, concerning his merchant business; received no reply. Appeals to Newcastle for help. Also petition to allow a visit from his wife, who just arrived in London. Dated at Tower [of London].
