Transports from Dunkirk [France] going to ports at Calais [France] and Boulogne [France] to embark troops. Smaller transports might be carrying ammunition and accoutrements, and serve as landing craft. England has a considerable army ready to oppose invasion. Lord John Drummond was fortifying at Perth [Perthshire], but fell back to Montrose [Angus]. Believes French want to separate England and Ireland. French are calling 'him' [James Francis Edward Stuart or Charles Edward Stuart] Duke of Albany.
