Folios 69-70. Dudley Bradstreet to Andrew Stone. On being accused of being a papist convict by duke of Newcastle, Bradstreet replied that he is not a papist, and only meets such for the sake of gathering intelligence. He was imprisoned only for 14 days. Since the Reformation all his family have been justices of the peace or army officers. He has acted out of a desire to serve the king and the public. With seal.
