Folios 62-67. [Richard] Hoare, lord mayor of London, to duke of Newcastle. Enclosing an abstract of an account produced by the beadles of all the horses in London. This abstract lists all coach, draft and saddle horses, including those kept privately and for hire. The list is arranged by ward and gives the owners' names and locations of the horses. The horses total 1,942. Dated at Goldsmiths' Hall.
