Folios 88-89. Draft. Duke of Newcastle to Lieutenant General Handasyd. Handasyd has arrived at Berwick [Northumberland]. The King approves of Handasyd's conduct, especially in the provisioning of Edinburgh castle. Handasyd is to defend Berwick. He has sent a copy of Handasyd's letter regarding his need for reinforcements to Marshal Wade. Dated at Whitehall [Middlesex, London].
