Folios 68-69. Robert Heron to [Duke of Newcastle]. Mr Sutton has sent to London regarding Graves' affairs. Mr Sutton has been very rude to Heron, attacking him during a meeting with the mayor and aldermen. The town is uneasy that armed guards are running about at night. Graves has been examined, and many have offered to be examined in his defence. The town justices do not think Graves deserves to be imprisoned. Mr Sutton is not suited to enquiries of this nature. Dated at Newark.
