Folios 60-61. Swynfern Jervis to [Duke of Newcastle]. With transcript of letter [of 13 December] from David Morgan to Jervis denying collaboration with the rebels [Jacobites]. Also with a report of a conversation between Jervis and Morgan about rebel hopes of enlisting support from the students at Oxford and the logistics of a French landing. Jervis reports Morgan's request for mercy. Dated at Meaford [Staffordshire].
