Folio 44. Thomas Wells to Duke of Newcastle. A printer in Wield Street [London] is likely to be the source of any treasonable libels as he is a papist. The printer is employed by a notable papist and bookseller in Drury Lane [Middlesex, London], whose shop is frequented by wealthy papists and priests. There are eight popish schools in and around Wield Street and several papists lodge at the house of Mr Gay in Little Wield Street [London]. With seal. Dated at London.
