Travelled from Dunstable [Bedfordshire] to Coventry [Warwickshire] with suspected rebel [Jacobite] quartermaster general or officer; Claimed to be one of Sir John Ligonier's captains, but knew no officers and refused to show papers. Has been in French Service. Bradstreet informed Mayor of Coventry, who arrested him. Seal. Dated at Coventry.
