Folio 80. Seal. [Unknown] to Mr Jennington at Will's Coffee House, London. Note on reverse, dated at 'a Silk Dyers', Fetter Lane [London], 31 March 1747: Confirms delivery to Mr Waite at Newcastle's office by John Lewis. Enclosures:
1. Folios 81-82. [Unknown] to Mr Ball. Partly in cipher. Concerning delay of payments to 'partners'; Mr Houghton eager to give Mr Anderton satisfaction, but Mr Hussey causing delay. Persons should visit Mr Greenwood and Mr Goring to check ability to answer demands made on them; Anderton will not put 'his Credit or reputation in such hands'. Mr Bond forbids Mr Blois and Mr Bernard from interfering. Blois currently employed at Houghton's house. Will inform Ball of outcome by next post. Postscript concerning sale of goods held in custody by 'the Captain'.
2. Folios 79 and 83. Copy. [Unknown] to Mr Ball. contents same as in original [Folios 81-82].
