Folios 82-83. Draft. Newcastle to Marshal Wade. Rebels [Jacobites] intend to avoid Duke of Cumberland's army and march to London. Preparations underway for embarkations from Dunkirk [France]. Lord Lonsdale reports rebels moving to attack Cumberland's army or enter Wales. Wade should defend Newcastle [Northumberland] and Berwick [Northumberland] if rebels fall back to Carlisle [Cumberland]. Intelligence from Lord Malton. [Carried] 'By Butson' [messenger]. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
