Lord Lonsdale reports rebels moving to attack Cumberland's army or enter Wales. Wade should defend Newcastle [Northumberland] and Berwick [Northumberland] if rebels fall back to Carlisle [Cumberland]. Intelligence from Lord Malton. [Carried] 'By Butson' [messenger]. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
