Rebels [Jacobites] were at Manchester [Lancashire]; Might avoid Duke of Cumberland's army by marching through Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Marshal Wade expected at Wetherby [Yorkshire]. Reports of French troops embarking at Dunkirk [France]; Some already landed in Scotland. Prisoners from the Soleil being brought to London. Promises to pursue Mr Morris's grant for life. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
