Folios 34-34a. George Friar to Newcastle. Robert Dillon and Mr Fernegan not returned from Wrightlinton [?Wrightington] Hall [Lancashire], close to the rebels [Jacobites]. Several 'Papists' gone to Mr Dickenson's house; He supports the Pretender [Charles Edward Stuart]. Friar intends to find work in a country school, to support his family. Mr Stonner of Oxfordshire gone with Hampshire 'Papists' to Lancashire. Seal. Dated at Mill Hill [London, Middlesex].
