Description

This series comprises the documentation of sub-committees, working parties and similar groups subordinate to the Joint Intelligence Committee (Joint Intelligence Committee (A)).

The earliest pieces date from the late 1950s with the volume of documentation increasing during the 1960s. This is attributable to the previous procedure of issuing sub-committee and working party documentation as Secretariat minutes. A decline in the volume of documentation during the 1970s is attributable to the records of several working parties and similar groups being registered as 'INT' documentation.
