Description

Registers of prosecutions undertaken by the DPP's office at the Old Bailey (Central Criminal Court) from 1905 to the establishment of the Crown Prosecution Service in 1986. Information given is: name of accused, offence, police officer in the case, counsel for the prosecution, police court and name of the clerk who conducted the case, result of the case. (From 1905-mid-1965 the dates given are those of the court sitting, from 1965-1973, the date of the court sessions, from 1974-1986 the date of committal).
