Folios 60-61. Attorney General's report on the case of Dr John Burton, York. Stating that, in his opinion, there is insufficient evidence to prove Dr Burton guilty of high treason even though there was reason to think otherwise. However, even if there was sufficient evidence, Dr Burton would be entitled to a pardon under the late Act of Grace.
