Description

i. Folio 22. Covering letter from Saml [Samuel] Birch, High Sheriff of Lancashire, to [Newcastle]. With receipt for 66 rebel [Jacobite] prisoners delivered to Francis Hamilton, Samuel Smith's agent, for transportation, from total of 73 prisoners. Dated at Ardwick [Lancashire]. Enclosure:

1. Folios 23-24. List of prisoners due for transportation, witnessed by George Marsh and Rachel Hyth.
