Description

This series consists of departmental visitors' books of the British Museum (Natural History) Department of Palaeontology.

The visitors' books in this series are of two types.DF 108/1 - 4 and DF 108/11-19 contain the signatures of visitors and students entering the Department, while the names in DF 108/5-10 were entered by a clerk. Separate Library and departmental visitors' books were kept from 1903-1950, when the two series were merged and a single book used.
