Affidavits sworn by Turnkeys Richard Jones and John Jordan dismissing complaints by [Jacobite] rebel prisoners in New Gaol Southwark [Surrey] concerning demands for payment for access from visitors, for the chance to take fresh air, and about the high cost of having to buy beer and other provisions from them. Jordan describes being attacked by petitioner Walter Mitchele. Dated at Southwark Gaol. Filed with:
