Copy of letter from [the ambassador] Colonel [William] Stanhope, to Lord Carteret, promising to watch closely the actions of Jacobites in Spain, advising that 'three ships with [?Captain William] Morgan... are already arrived on the coast near Bilbao [Spain]', that the Duke of Ormonde's family is in [the Duke of Medinaceli's house at] Ventosilla but that he has now abandoned plans to go there, that he dines each day in Madrid with Lady Arthur, and that Lord Marshall [Marischal] has aborted his trip from Valentia [?Valencia] to Biscay [Vizcaya].
