Letter, in French, from P Guillot to [unknown]. Guesses that the memoirs he sent through the Chamberlain have been ignored. Recalls the passage of the Old Pretender [James Francis Edward Stewart] in La Rochelle [France] eight years before and his loyalty to king George. Having discovered the plot of the pretender, he has abandoned his country and family and has risked his life to warn the king. He asks for some money to continue his journey to Spain, so as to continue to serve his king. Dated at Grafton Street [London, Middlesex].
